Mercedes-AMG ONE

The fusion between Formula 1 and street racing.

Design – The AMG ONE features a particularly aerodynamic profile typical of a high-performance sports car. There are numerous air intakes, among which the one on the roof is noticeable, used for engine cooling, and the one on the front hood to enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamic coefficient.

Powertrain – The powertrain of the ONE is closely derived from what Mercedes uses in Formula 1, the 1.6-liter V6 engine, with the addition of four electric motors, one for each wheel. In total, the vehicle produces 1063 horsepower, reaching a top speed that is electronically limited to 352 km/h (219 mph).

Chassis – The vehicle is equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission and four competition-grade carbon-ceramic brakes. It features an aluminum multilink chassis and pushrod traverse suspension, capable of reducing body roll and rendering the need for an anti-roll bar unnecessary. Active aerodynamics are heavily employed, with the rear wing and front elements capable of increasing downforce. Additionally, there is extensive use of carbon fiber to reduce the vehicle’s weight, thereby enhancing its performance.

Interiors – The interior is entirely derived from a race car, with the addition of a touchscreen display in the center for infotainment functions.
