Design – The exterior design makes the GV80 aggressive, luxurious and sporty at the same time. On the front there’s the classic Genesis “Two-Line” LED headlamps and the G-Matrix grille that makes the front profile aggressive. At the rear, instead, the car shows its sporty side, with the rear LED lights that sets an union with the fronts one.
Powertrains – The Genesis GV80 features two powertrains. The first is a 2.5 liter Inline 4 Turbo GDI, with an 8-speed Automatic transmission and an output power of 300 hp. The second powertrain is a 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6, with an 8-speed AT and an output power of 375 hp.
Chassis – The chassis remains the same for both powertrains, with only one change on the suspension between the two engines. For the 2.5L I4 engine there’ll be a Multi-Link suspension both on front and rear, while for the 3.5L TT V6 there’ll electronically cotrolled suspension.
The safety stays on the top of priorities for Genesis, specially on this SUV. The safety features will assist the driver in everything, from the exiting parking spots to helping maintain safety on the highway.
Interior – The interior magnifies the luxury side of the car. For the driver and the front passenger there is a massive 14.5″ HD Navigation widescreen to display, even with convenient split-screens, navigation maps, weather and audio controls. On the center console there’ll be the shift gear, a “Shift-by-Wire” shifter made out of tempered glass. For the rear passenger the car gives ample room to relax and enjoy the heated row seats.
Trims – The available trims will be different between the three engines. For the 2.5 engine the available trims will be: Standard, Advanced and Prestige.
For the 3.5 engine there’ll be five trims: Standard, Advanced, Prestige, Prestige Matte and Prestige Signature.
